Hybrid Systems Australia is pleased to announce the award of a multi-million dollar contract for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Operation of 49 Stand Alone Power Systems (SPS) across regional Western Australia for Western Power as part of the Round 1 roll out of 57 SPS systems, following the successful SPS trial in 2016.
The 49 SPS have been sized and designed to meet the Customer’s power needs and in total comprise 250kW of solar panels, 220kW of solar inverters and nearly 600kWh of lithium battery energy storage. The systems will also be provided with a high efficiency diesel generator to enable back up power to the solar and battery systems. The solar systems will generate over 325,000 kWh of power, enough to power over 60 typical residential Customers in the South-West Interconnected System (SWIS).
